Welcome to Macabrefur

This is an art group for those of you who enjoy the dark arts, blood, violence, pain, all that sort of shit.:

Death the is the main theme for this guild. So is pain and well, everything macabre.

Joining the Guild

We welcome both beginners and Seasoned Masters. I am but a leader here, an organizer. Many of the artists that join will more than likely outpower my own artistic abilities twofold(or several times over. There are some very powerful artists on DA). I look to find powerful artists like this to make our guild stronger.

Step 1 Send a note to ~macabrefur as well as a link to your best work currently residing within your gallery. Do NOT request membership by replying to this journal or commenting on the main page. We welcome artists of Black-and-white art, furries and of course, poets, if you must. Although, anthropomorphic is what we are mainly comprised of. You don't necessarily have to be "furry" either. There are many artists who just occasionally draw anthropomorphic characters. You are most welcome as well. I don't identify completely with the whole fandom thing, either. I just like animal head people. Bloody ones.

Step 2 Await approval. You will recieve a note from us regarding our decision. If you are accepted, please stick our icon in your journal, and on your devwatch, so that you can stay up to date with new events and upcomming monthly topics. Once accepted, you will have been confirmed as an agent of Death. Welcome!

Also....

If your account becomes suspended for any reason by the DA admins, absolutely nothing will happen to your membership. We will be waiting for you after you return! (However, if it is a permanent ban, then Death be praised, and your name will be removed). We may create some sort of a "graveyard" for that sort of thing in the future.

Step 3 Show support for fellow members of your new Dark family! Comment on the Featured Necromancer, and comment on one another's artworks that are advertised on the front page's messege board. We encourage the use of this page's post-board to promote works.

The only requirements of this guild are that you place our icon in your journal. We do not require it in you signature, but it's a nice gesture.

Also, we may do a monthly theme project. At least I say we do, but we usually don't because I don't get around to it. HOWEVER. We do hold contests. Participation is not required, but it helps our guild thrive. We are aware that you have lives in the real world, and things may come up. We understand.

Please SUPPORT your fellow members by commenting on their works of darkness.

Spread the word! Recruit other potential dark members to our guild! You can do that by simply placing us in your signature.

AND Place us in your devwatch too, so you can keep up on current events.
